FLIR ONE infrared camera for iPhone5 iPhone and 5s

Would you like to see what happens in the dark directly from the screen of your iPhone? Now you can, thanks to the FLIR infrared ONE.

FLIR Systems introduced at CES 2014 the first infrared camera for iPhone iPhone 5 and 5s that displays sources of warmth, humans and animals up to a distance of about 30 metres and in full darkness.

The appliance consists basically in a kind of cover for iPhone equipped with the components necessary for the processing of infrared, with a rechargeable battery that provides enough energy to 2 hours of continuous shooting, or to charge 50% of your phone.

On the official page dedicated to the product, it reads:

The unique ability of FLIR ONE to observe and measure the infrared energy gives consumers a new, versatile tool that can be used in a variety of applications. For example, you can easily identify any heat loss within the houses, locate the pillars or locating water leaks.Outdoor enthusiasts can observe the fauna slevatica day or night, moving in the dark, determine whether the captured prey are cooked to perfection or to ensure that the camp fire is fully extinguished by pulling out the FLIR. A family can detect intruders in total darkness, find a pet or see through smoke during an emergency.
