Drupal Message Stack

Manage activity streams, notifications, subscriptions in a Drupal way

Stack Message is a series of modules that allow the creation of Drupal advanced social networking features like activity streams, notifications, subscriptions to particular content.

At the Drupal Day 2014, held in Milan last November 2014, an intermediate talk presented in collaboration with Paolo Libanore, Project Manager of Sixeleven (Communication agency in Turin) in which  the characteristics of the main modules have been described:

  • Message
  • Message Notify
  • Message Subscribe

when and how to use them together, and how to customize the functionality to suit your needs.

During the session was analyzed a real case of use of Message Stack in the development of a complex Drupal application by Sixeleven, in the management of the IT Communities network of the WFP - World Food Programme - in the world.
